	The Company Erudite Inc. is a privately held company based in Tacoma, Washington, focused in the global cargo security and logistics market. Our mission is to provide practical solutions to shippers and logistics service providers that dramatically reduce the hard-dollar costs arising from theft, damages, and delays and to reduce Homeland Security threats arising from nuclear radiation and other contraband. Our strategy is to deliver innovative, patented products that are integrated to form a SmartContainer™ System. We do this through a combination of university based research, in-house engineering, and selective acquisitions of technology products and companies. Our solution includes security and threat detection, tracking and tracing, and documentation automation and efficiency; delivering substantial economic benefits to thousands of stakeholders within the supply chain, right down to the end customer.

Major General (ret.) Joseph K. Simeone
VP Operations, Director

Major General (ret.) Joseph K. Simeone has been a Director of Erudite since January 2009. MG Simeone is President of JKS Consultants, specializing in government relations for commercial cargo aviation related companies. From 1998 to 2006, he was Deputy Adjutant General, New Hampshire National Guard, from 1996 to 2003, Air National Guard Assistant to Air Mobility Command (AMC)/ U.S. Transportation Command (USTRANSCOM), Scott AFB, IL (dual assignments). From 1986 to 1996, Maj. Gen. Simeone was Wing commander of the 157 Air Refueling Wing, NH Air National Guard, Pease ANGB. Prior to joining the NH Air National Guard he was an Investment Advisor with Paine, Webber, Boston, MA from 1970 to 1975. Gen Simeone is a graduate of the University of Connecticut, BS Finance(1964), where he played varsity football and was selected to the All Yankee Conference Team in his senior year at the tight end position; Golden Gate University, MBA Management, (1976); the Air War College (1984); and the Southern NH University receiving a Certificate of International Business Studies (1997). He currently serves on the Exeter Health Resources Board of Trustees and as a consultant to Northrop Grumman Corp. Aerospace Systems Division.
