Shock Solutions
Cargo damages arising when containers are dropped, jostled, or otherwise collide; and damages are difficult to assign to the responsible party. As a result, shippers are often held responsible for paying the claims or they are unfairly allocated across multiple carriers, raising direct and indirect costs to all parties.

The xCoupler/C contains accelerometers that carefully measure and record all shocks occurring after the container or trailer is sealed. StrongBox records the GPS location, date and time or each shock occurrence, and reports shock events to the shipper, 3PL, and insurance company(ies) authorized by the shipper.

Temperature Solutions
Cargo damages arising during transport by refrigerated containers or trailers are difficult to assign to the responsible party, especially if the reefer is transported by multiple truckers, rail carriers and steamship lines.

The xCoupler/C’s ambient temperature sensor measures and records the ambient temperature inside the trailer / container after the shipment is sealed. StrongBox records the GPS location, date and time of each temperature measurement, and reports excursions to the shipper, 3PL, and insurance providers authorized by the shipper.
